Wifi for Dublin Airport
According to Cork airports official airport, there is free Wi–Fi for passengers going through the airport. On the official Dublin airport website, it states people can purchase Wi-Fi access throughout the airport by using the vending machines available. So what is the difference between the two airports? It is certainly not the passenger charges as Cork average €7.15 per person and it is €10.50 per person in Dublin.
But we are interested to hear your opinion on this. Are you happy to pay for this service or do you feel it should be free like Cork. Or perhaps, you would feel a free initial period of 15 minutes is fair like is used for parking in numerous places, and is currently in place in Charles De Gaulle airport. Please let us know your thoughts and perhaps everyone could work towards getting free Wifi for all Irish airports.
In the meantime, there is a better ways to avail of Wifi at Dublin than just paying directly for it. If you are travelling on your own, you could buy access to an airport lounge for €20. This includes free Wifi, unlimited snacks and beverages and of course nice comfortable seats.
